Cleanse, Tone and Moisturise

I use this cleanser morning and night because the ingredients are very natural and gentle enough to use on active acne it also works on every age and skin type.
It feels like you have had a facial morning and night!!
The plant-based cleanser has a 2-phase action, phase 1 is the cleansing. Free from mineral oil, it has a rich and creamy texture and swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, even stubborn mascara.
Phase 2 is the polishing. Polish off the cream using the pure muslin cloth to help gently dislodge dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin.
Naturally active ingredients include eucalyptus and cocoa butter for smoother, clearer skin.
The ingredients that help active acne in this product are-
                                                       Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao)

This rich, creamy butter which has moisturising effects on the skin is made from the roasted seeds of the cocoa tree, the same seeds that give us chocolate and cocoa.
                                                  Rosemary Essential Oil/Extract (Rosmarinus officinalis)

This renowned and once sacred herb has been used for centuries in beauty preparations. Rosemary essential oil has a fresh pungent aroma and is very invigorating and stimulating. The extract has beneficial antioxidant properties
                                                                         D-panthenol

Otherwise known as pro-vitamin B5, this B vitamin is necessary for the normal functioning of the skin and has a moisturising effect. It also helps stimulate cellular renewal.
All these ingredients play a part in keeping acne under control.
                                                                 Instant Boost Skin Tonic

This heavenly floral-scented, non-drying toner refreshes, soothes and brightens your skin. Gentle and alcohol-free, it also adds a fine layer of moisture.
Ingredients to help acne-
                                                             Aloe Vera (Aloe barbadensis)

The gel found in this cactus-like plant’s fat juicy fronds contain active ingredients to help cool, soothe and soften the skin. Aloe vera has been used for more than 6000 years to treat a variety of skin ailments, including sunburn, blisters and burns.

                                                    Calendula Extract (Calendula officinalis)

This cheerful plant more commonly known as marigold has a long history of use in traditional medicine. An extract produced from the plant has a calming, soothing effect on the skin.
                                          Geranium Essential Oil (Pelargonium graveolens)

These essential oils provide wonderfully uplifting fragrances. Pelargonium odoratissimum has a delicate apple aroma whilst P. graveolens, known as rose-scented geranium has a more powerful rose-like odour. This luxurious oil is most commonly used in aromatherapy for its toning and balancing properties.

The ingredients that help active acne in this product are-
                                                      West African Shea (Vitellaria paradoxa)

Shea nuts are wild-harvested in the forested savannah of Africa in an area that extends west-east for approximately 5,000 kilometers between the latitudes of 11 and 14 degrees north of the equator. Our West African shea is from the Tung Teiya Women’s Shea Association in Ghana. Eleven women’s groups, comprising of 450 women, generate income from harvesting shea, valuing and conserving their semi-arid ecosystem. Shea butter melts at skin temperature. It improves the elasticity of the skin and enhances the barrier function of the epidermis, helping it to retain moisture.
                                                     Pomegranate Extract (Punica granatum)

The pomegranate is a neat, rounded shrub or small tree that produces red apple-sized fruits, which contain fleshy pink seeds. The name pomegranate comes from the old French ‘seed apple’. Pomegranate extract is used in the Sun Shade protection products for its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants neutralise free radicals.
                                                                Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

This antioxidant helps protect skin against free radical damage caused by pollution and the sun’s radiation. We only use premium natural-source vitamin E which is up to three times more potent than the synthetic variety.
                                                              Rosehip Oil (Rosa rubiginosa)

This oil is produced from the seeds contained within striking red rosehips. Considered a luxurious oil rosehip seed oil is a good source of essential fatty acids which help lock moisture onto the skin.
Those are the main ingredients that will help keep your acne under control whilst giving you a clear, smooth complexion. All the products can be found on the liz Earle website where you will be able to research more into the products. Sinse i started using the cleanse, tone and moisturise i dont get severe breakouts, the apperence of my skin is smooth and my open pores are closed.
I also use a night time product which is by Declor.

                                                             Aromessence rose d'orient

I use this product at night time on the effected areas. A drop on each finger tip is more than enough. Its a pricey product but will last you up to 6 moths. It penetrates skin upon application for soothing, healthy results and offers immediate softness and reduces irritation. The main ingredient is the rosemary which helps do this. http://www.feelunique.com/p/Decleor-Aromessence-Rose-DOrient-Concentrate-15ml

If like me your acne is also triggered by hormones i will list the vitamins i use to balance out my hormones. If your not sure you can go to your local GP and ask for a blood test to test if your hormones are unbalanced.

So by now you're probably thinking "whatever, it wont work on my Skin". I said the exact same thing until I tried it. Don't get me wrong it doesnt do miracles but it sure clears your skin with given time. I saw a drastic improvement in my break outs and the texture of my skin.

Below are a list of vitamins and a link to where you can research them. Some people don't like taking tablets so there are other drinks you can buy.

Bear in mind it's all natural!

There are a lot more vitamins you can take depending on where your Acne is coming from. But all-round vitamins do maintain a good health which leads to clear skin.

Don’t give up hope, you can have clear skin

It’s important to always stay positive and appreciate the things you're happy with about yourself in order to stay hopeful about the things you want to improve. It is possible to have clear skin, there are things you can do to achieve this .Try not to let stress and insecurity of acne shatter your confidence, instead take whatever steps necessary to improve your skin. Here are some simple, healthy ways you can do this :
1. Drink water- This is perhaps the most recommended solution, drinking more water helps to flush out bad toxins that can lead to acne.
2. Avoid unhealthy habits – Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol, these can decrease the body’s ability to get rid of bad toxins which can be contributing to acne.
3. Avoid touching spots- Ignore the urge to squeeze or scratch the spots, as this can worsen the acne and leave you with scarring. Touching the spots will add more dirt and oil from your hands to them, the skin could also become irritated which could lead to more spots appearing.
4. Changing your pillowcase frequently- Each night that you sleep on your pillow, oils and bacteria from previous days or nights can reside on the pillow, which can get on your face and cause the acne to worsen. Washing your pillow case often will prevent this.
5. Having a good Skin regime- Cleanse, Tone and moisturising are all very important in keeping your skin clean and clear. Below I will blog about products I have used and strongly recommend.
6. Taking vitamins everyday- The nutrition that obtained from vitamins is essential for healthy living. When our body fails to receive the needed vitamins it causes various health issues and deficiencies. Some of which is spots on the skin. Also taking vitamins balances out your hormones which can be contributing to Acne. Again I will blog about the vitamins I used to help keep my skin clear.
